The theme of the Afripal Inaugural Conference 18-20 June 2025 is ‘Parliaments in Africa: Opportunities and Prospects for Sustainable Development.’

The 5th edition of The Africa Parliamentary Engagement and Monitoring Organisations (PEMOs) Conference from 16–19 September 2025, in Pretoria, will bring together over 40 PEMO representatives, legislators, development practitioners, regional bodies, and media to reflect on democratic progress and renew strategies for effective engagement between legislatures and civil society.
